Preguntado si cada uno de los dichos tgos
y Negros comprehendidos en las declaracio-
nes citadas, a las que dice asistio fueron
examinados en los mismos dias de las fhas
que se expresan cada una de ellas di
xo: que no puede asegurarlo y responde----
Preguntado quien escribia las dichas
declaraciones? dico: Que el Comandante las
excribia asistandole el declarante segun la
practica y estilo Español por que el dicho Co-
mandante se lo suplico por no estar bien ins-
truido en el idioma Español y responde----

examined on the same day as the dates
given on each of them he said:
that he cannot confirm that and he responds--

Commander asked him to do so because he was not well
instructed in the Spanish language and he responds--
