tin Allain Capitan de Milicias de
quien su mrd. dcho S.or Teniente Teniente
Gobernador por medio de los Ynterpretes
D.n Juan Joseph Duforest y D.n Daniel
Mortimer y por ante mi el Escribano
recibio juramento quien lo hizo por Dios
y la Cruz de su Espada poniendola
mano derecha sobre el puño de ella
baxo el que ofrecio decir verdad en
lo que supiere y fuere preguntado
y siendolo por la primera cita que le
hace D.n Valentin LeBlanc, Comandante
que fue del Puesto de Punta Cortada

under which he promised to tell the truth
as he knew it and was asked
and being asked about the first reference that
