Preguntado si se acuerda haver hecho una
declaracion en e! Puesto de Punta Cortada ante
mi el pressente Escrivano el dia seis de Febrero
del corriente año si en ella expuso lo que constan
desde foxas trescientas treinta y quatro vuelta y si es
cierto su contenido para cuyo fin se le ha
puesto presente en este acto? dixo: que se acuer
da haver dado una declaracion ante mi el
presente Escribano en el Puesto de Punta Cortada
en el dia que se cita y reconoce ser la misma
que se le ha manifestado y suya la firma que
en ella aparce: Pero que quanto en ella dixo
fue inspirado de la confianza, que como de lo
dicho en las pregunta antecedente tenia
en la probidad del Comandante e inteligencia
que suponia en D.n Fernando Rodriguez
que en todo lo havia dirigido y que en quanto
a la reconvencion que el presente Es.no

on the said day and he recognizes it to be the same
that has been shown to him and his the signature that
appears on it: But regarding the fact that in it he said
he was inspired by the confidence , that as he
said in the previous question he had
in the honesty of the Commander and intelligence
he assumed of Don Fernando Rodriguez
that he had managed everything and that regarding
the counter-claim that the present Scribe
