"[attendaient] que le negres nommés [Sic], Jean Louis, J François a Veuve Barron que étaient à la cipriere aussi que beaucoup d'autres qui ne lui a pas nommé fussent de retour pour tuer les blancs, & les négres qui ne voulaient pas être du complot, à quoi le répondant lui objecta, comment ils pourraient faire ayant beaucoup de gens aux Natchéz, et s'ils se sentaient capable de résister au Canon, et Charles & Jean Baptiste lui répondirent que cela était égal et que s'il fallait mourir ils survivraient et ajoute de plus que le nommé Coffe lui avait dit que Noel tous deux a la même habitation leur fourniraient la poudre & autres mentionne sachant"

"[have been waiting for] the negros called [Sic], Jean Louis, J Francois of Widow Barron that were in the cypress swamp also that many others who were not known to him would return to kill the whites, and the negros who did not want to be in the conspiracy, [to which the respondant objected], how they could do it having many of the people at Natchez, and if they felt capable of withstanding [cannon fire?], and Charles & Jean Baptiste answered him that [it didn't matter] and that if he must die they will survive and added also that the man named Coffe had told him that Noel both at the same plantation will provide them the powder and others mentioned knowing"
