"L'Eveillé, were the principals of the conspiracy, and that they were under the intention of returning that night [close to] the master's house, following the orders of the commander, to massacre the whites who were there, and next to storm the storeroom to stockpile weapons, and after to join with the negros of the conspiracy to go attack the guard of the fort and free the mulatto Antoine Sarrasin and the other prisoners and at that moment kill all the whites and the other slaves (of the conspiracy) who did not want to join with them, adding that a man named Charles of the same master had told him that they"
