"en ville a un caiptaine négre pour [plider] pour eux, il ajoute qu'étant parti [alors] du camp du Sr. Poédras, il etait arrive chez sa maîtresse, et lui avait dit qu'il se [faisait] un complot dans le camp du Sr Poédras, et que Baptiste Forgeron était du complot, et que l'ayant prevenue de cela il ne lui avait point nommé ses blancs crayant de manquer de [preuve] et de se trouver dans un mauvais [sic], que la semaine avant le dimance des raimeaux, Ami était venu le trouver, et lui demander s'il voulait être du complot a quoi le répondant lui dit que non, et que si lui en parlait d'avantage il"
Translation
"in the city to a negro captain to pleader for them, he adds that when he then left the camp of Sr. Poedras, he had arrived at the place of his mistress, and had said to her that there was a conspiracy in the camp of Sr Poedras, and that Baptiste Forgeron was in the conspiracy, and that having [accused him] of this he had not named the whites, believing that he lacked proof and to be found in a bad [sic - situation], that the week before Palm Sunday, Ami came to find him, and to ask him if he wanted to be in the conspiracy to which the respondent said to him no, and that if he, in speaking in favor of it he"
