"les blancs et les tuer, et [s'amasser] du fusils et munitions, pour cet effet [que] le dimanche de paques passé ayant été dans la cabanne du nomme Jean esclave au Sr Poédras, un nommé (L'Eveillé) esclave du même maître [je dis] Noel était venu l'y trouver ce lui demandant s'il n'allait point a la messe, a quoi le répondant dit que non, & que le dit Noel lui a dit que lui y allait pour ramasser son [monde] qu'il était tout [parré] en attendant [sic], négre esclave de la dite Dame Baron que était dans le moment en ville et que d'abord qu'il [serait] arrivé ils étaient décidé à massacrer tous les blancs et que les négres qui ne voudraient pas se joindre a eux y passeraient de méme que le dit Jean qui était présent etait [sic]"
Translation
"the whites and kill them, and collect the guns and ammunition, for this purpose, & that last Easter Sunday had been in the cabin of the man named Jean slave of Sr Poédras, a man named (L'Eveillé) slave of the same master [I call] Noel had come to find him and they asked him if he would not go to the mass, to which the respondant said that no, to which the respondant said no, and that the man named Noel told him that he went there to collect his [sic], that he was completely [prepared?], and awaiting [sic], the negro slave of the said Dame Baron who was at that moment in town and that firstly that he would arrive, it was decided to massacre all the whites and that the negros who did not want to join them [it would happen the same - kill them too, or just go ahead with it, not sure] that the man called Jean who was present had [sic]"
