On the same day and year as above, in the presence of Messrs. J. Bte. Beauvais, J. Jarreau, F. Allain, and S. Croiset, witnesses, we had Jean Baptiste Riché, resident of this post, appear before us. He took an oath to tell what he heard the women named Françoise and Madelaine, savages of the Tunica nation say about the plot by the slaves of this district against their masters. He said:
