Consécutivements avons fait comparraître les nommés Marcos Lich, Jean Aubert, Jean Sorga, et Maluren Boisseau, & aussi la négresse Jeanne de dire la vérité par serment dans les formes ordinaires et intérogé si quelques uns de ces dites hommes ont été ceux qui lui ont parlé su la liberté des esclaves, elle a répondu qu'aucun et qu'elle connait le dit Marcos Lich, qui avait passé avant d'être la déclarante à l'habitation de Tounica ou elle [semait] du mays

et l'ayant faite sortie avons fait entrer la nommée Louison et apres lui avoir fait faire son"

Next we have made appear the men named Marcos Lich, Jean Aubert, Jean Sorga, and [Maluren] Boisseau, and also the negresse Jeanne to tell the truth by oath in the ordinary manners and asked if some ones of these said men were those that had spoken to her about the freedom of slaves, she replied that none of them, and that she knows the said Marcos Lich, who had passed before the declarant at the plantation of the Tunicas where she was sowing corn she replies.
And having made her exit we made enter the woman called Louison and after having made her make her"
