Consecutivement avons fait comparaître le nommé Petit Pierre negre esclave au Sr Charles Duffour cité par Michel au même maitre, et apres avoir fait son serment par Dieu et la Ste Croix de dire la vérité au sujet de la dite cite et ce qu'ils [sic] de plus au sujet du dit complot il a dit que
S'était vrai qu'il avait parlé au dit Michel qu'il y avait des blancs mellé dedans, mais qu'ils ne lui eu avait pas dit la quantité attendu"

Next we have made appear the man called Petit Pierre negro slave of Sr. Charles Duffour mentioned by Michel of the same master, and after having made his oath to God and the Holy Cross to say the truth about the aforementioned and that which [sic] also about the said conspiracy he said that
It was true that he had spoken to the said Michel that there were some whites involved in it, but that he had not told him the number expected"
