He added that since his interview with Sarrasin, he had mounted a horse several times at night to go walking {à la cotte d’en haut -- cotte is probably a different spelling of another word, d’en haut literally means from above}. Asking him how many times, he replied two or three times between 9 or 10 o’clock.
He said he had nothing more to say, and after having heard his statement read, he said it was true, that he was around 32 years old, that he didn’t know how to sign his name.
