"and various counter-claims made, Ami replied that because all had been declared, he would do the same as the others, and that:
It was true that he the declarant wanted to massacre the whites to have their liberty, and likewise that Jean Baptiste commander to Sr Poedras was the main leader, it was he who would give the orders marking the day and the manner of making the attack, that the declarant did not know all the [accomplices?] and that the declarant adds that he had spoken about the conspiracy to kill the whites with the men called l'Ham, and those named in his preceeding declaration, which he approved [sic] in all"
