comparraître un blanc engagé de [Marcos Lich] arrêté pour cette affaire et après lui avoir fait faire son serment par Dieu & la Ste Croix dans les formes ordinaires l'avons intérogé
S'il est vrai qu'il s'appelle [Jn Jorgo], pour quel motif il est arrêté, de quel pays il est, s'il est marie, et quel est son maîtier, il répond
Qu'il est vrai qu'il s'appelle Jn Jorgo, qu'il est arrêté pour le complot des négres, qu'il est voyageur natif de la republique de [Raguse???] & garçon"

appear a white man engaged by Marcos Lich arrested for this matter and after having made him make his oath to God and the Holy Cross in the ordinary manner we have asked him
If it is true that he is called Jn Jorgo, for what reason he is arrested, from what country he is, if he is married, and what is his profession, he replies
That it is true that he is called Jean Jorgo, that he is arrested for the conspiracy of the negros, that he is a traveller, native of the republic of [Raguse?] & a bachelor"
