Consécutivement avons fait comparraître un mulatre arrêté pour cette affaire, & après lui avoir fait faire son serment par Dieu & la Ste Croix dans les formes ordinaires l'avons intérogé
S'il est vrai qu'il s'appelle Jacob esclave au Sr Francois Allain pour quel motif il est arrêté qu'elle est sa nation, son maîtier, & s'il est marie, il répond
Il est vrai qu'il se nomme Jacob, qu'il est arrêté pour l'affaire des négres contre les blancs, que son maîtier est de servir son maître, Sr François Allain, qu'il est creole de ce poste & garçon"
