Intérogé pour quoi il [c'est] prêté au crime de Révolution pour tuer les blancs de quoi on lui ont fait charge sachant qu'il meritait d'être pendu, il dit qu'il connaissait le crime et la peine et qu'il avait [sic] de bouche & non de coeur et ne sachant signer l'avons fait avec l'assesseur & les témoins d'assistance de tout quoi donnons foi. Asked why he [was ready to commit] the crime of Revolution for kiling the whites of which we have charged him, knowing that he deserves to be hung, he says that he knew the crime and the punishment and that he was [sic] of the mouth and not of the heart and not knowing how to sign we have done it with the assessor and the attending witnesses of all which we give authority.
