Qu'il s'appelle l'Eveillé au Sr Poédras qu'il est arrêté pour l'affaire du complot des négres pour massacrer les blancs, que son maîtier est de servir son maître, qu'il est de nation [bibau], & est garçon
Intérogé s'il se souvient avoir déclaré sur cette affaire et s'il ratifie sa déclaration folio trente sept"

"received the oath to God and the Holy Cross in the ordinary manner we have asked him
If it is true that he is called l'Eveillé of Sr Poédras, for what reason he is arrested, of what nation he is, if he is married and what is his profession, he replies
That he is called l'Eveillé of Sr Poedras, that he is arrested for the matter of the conspiracy of the negros to massacre the whites, that his profession is to serve his master, that he is of the nation [bibau], and is a boy [unmarried].
Asked if he remembers having declared about this affair and if he approves his declaration, page 37"
