Philipe Manchot is named by Hall 1992 as being owned by David Lacour, but not in the GM database (i.e., none of the PC parish Philipe's have listed links to a David Lacour) nor, significantly, in the testimonies. In both instances where Manc[h]ot's ownership is mentioned, he ostensibly belongs to the estate of the Widow Lacour. With regard to age, the number should always be considered approximate for the enslaved, even when a fixed integer is given.
